The Jamburglars are Chicago's newest excuse to break out the leg warmers: a cover band formed in 2025 and rooted in the Beverly neighborhood, built for one purpose: making the best three minutes of 1983 happen again, live, tonight.

Pulling from the golden run of new wave and 80s radio — the Cars' angular hooks, R.E.M.'s jangle, the Pretenders' snarl, Talking Heads' nervous energy, Duran Duran's glossy strut — The Jamburglars don't just play the hits, they steal them right back off the shelf and hand them to a dance floor that's been waiting all week for permission to move.

Whether you're there for the nostalgia or discovering it for the first time, expect a set that turns any room into 1985 with better sound.
